Artifacts help Draftroom understand the material behind your work.

They can include notes, outlines, research, character sheets, source material, interview notes, lesson plans, brand guidelines, transcripts, imported content, or files.

Where Artifacts live

Artifacts live in Systems. Because Systems are reusable, their Artifacts become available to every Project connected to that System.

This is what makes Artifacts different from working notes. If you need context that travels with the work across multiple drafts and sessions, it belongs as an Artifact in the System. If you need a quick note just for this session, use the Working Notes field inside the Project.
